Awesome Minds embodies the spirit of reaching out to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities and their families, to deliver ABA’s best practices consistently by a collaborative approach that includes the schools, families, and providers.
Vision
To shine an array of paths for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Many families do not know anything about ASD until their child is diagnosed, and this becomes difficult to navigate for them. We have seen what early intervention with ABA services can accomplish, and Awesome Minds wants to facilitate that opportunity for as many children with autism and developmental disabilities as possible.
Sakin Mire, CEO
Sakin is an accomplished and principled senior professional with a strong background in formulating Human Resources Services, Payroll, and Benefits. Her experience in the field and educational background of Finance and Business Administrations have made her highly adaptable and resourceful, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Sakin carries over 28 years of experience in managing Human Resources, Financials, Payroll, and Benefits. While ensuring compliance, documentation, enforcement, and administration of the following federal labor regulations – HIPPA, ERISA, COBRA, OSHA, EEOC, IRCA, ADA, and the Civil Rights Acts of 1991.
She is passionate about early intervention training for individuals with ASD in the community. Sakin has witnessed what an early assessment and services can accomplish. She believes that every child should have the opportunity to receive services that enable them to realize their fullest potential.
Sakin partnered with Burhan, a great entrepreneur, who is committed to providing support, compassion, and resources needed to focus on serving the community.
She deeply values employee wellness, open-door policies, internal communication, and employee empowerment. Sakin also believes that every great manager must possess the emotional intelligence needed to be a compassionate leader, which degrees alone do not provide. Working closely with families, clients, and employees is essential to the success of individuals with ASD.
